Board of Advisors


Mr. Yarbrough has a background that is a combination of thirty five years experience with venture capital, investment banking and public accounting.  Recently, he served as CEO of 3Point Capital Partners, a private equity firm, which focused on the building products and outdoor lifestyle sectors.  Previously, Mr. Yarbrough was a Principal of CrossHill and spent over twenty years with BDO Seidman and Ernst & Young.

Mr. Yarbrough currently serves on the Board of Directors of Solera Holdings, Inc. (NYSE;SLH).  He previously served on the Boards of DigitalNet Holdings, Riggs National Corporation and SBR, Inc. prior to those companies being acquired.

Mr. Yarbrough is a graduate of Duke University .  He was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference Honor Roll for achieving outstanding academic and athletic achievement.


Mr. Alarie is President of ICertainty, a compliance software provider, serving both the government and private markets.  Previously, he was a Principal at CameronBlue Capital and CrossHill Financial Group.  Prior to that, Mr. Alarie was with the Institutional Group at Legg, Mason and Alex Brown & Sons.

Mr. Alarie is a graduate of Duke University and received an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.  In a prior professional life, he played for the Denver Nuggets and Washington Bullets (now Wizards) of the NBA.  He had achieved All-American status at Duke and left as Duke’s third all-time leading scorer.

JOHN C YORK, JR. (1) John C. York, Jr. is the Founder and Managing Partner of Georgetown Capital Corporation LLC, an investment company, which targets investment capital in financial service companies and real estate related ventures. Prior to founding Georgetown Capital, Mr. York was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of First Commonwealth Savings Bank, Virginia’s oldest savings bank and was concurrently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of James Madison Mortgage Company, one of the largest residential lenders in the Washington, DC area. Prior to these positions, Mr. York was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of York Associates Inc., one of the nation’s largest multi-family lenders. These three companies were acquired by large financial services providers. Mr. York graduated from Syracuse University.

Mr. Flanagan is Executive Vice President of Clark Enterprises, Inc., a privately-held construction and real estate holding company.  In addition, he is a Managing Director of CNF Investments LLC, the private equity division of Clark.  Previously, Mr. Flanagan was Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Orioles.

Mr. Flanagan serves on the Board of Directors of Clark Construction Group, LLC, Eagle Oil & Gas Co., ILD Telecommunications, Inc., Martek Biosciences Corp., Sagent Pharmaceuticals and OfficeArrow.

Mr. Flanagan is a CPA , a graduate of Georgetown University and holds a Masters in Taxation from the American University School of Business.


Mr. McGowan is President of Rock Springs Consultants, LLC, an advisory firm providing services to multinational corporations.  Previously, he was U.S. Ambassador to Portugal from 1997 through 2001.  During his tenure, he was instrumental in negotiations between the United States and Portugal during the East Timor struggle for independence from Indonesia in 2000.

Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, Mr. McGowan was a Partner of Lukas, McGowan, Nace & Gutierrez, a law firm in Washington, DC.  In addition, he was a founder of Integrated North Coast, Inc. (sold to NEC) and several  cellular systems throughout the United States, which were all eventually sold.

Mr. McGowan serves on the Board of Directors of Portugal Telecom and has served on the boards of Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), CTIA, the wireless industry association, and the Virginia Port Authority.

Mr. McGowan is a graduate of Georgetown University and received a law degree from Georgetown University School of Law.  He also served as a 1st Lieutenant in Vietnam.


Mr. Perrins is a Founder and Principal of Dyson Capital Advisors, an investment advisory firm, X-10 Capital Partners, a long-short hedge fund, and Novus Energy Partners, a clean energy growth capital fund.

Mr. Perrins is an investor and actively involved in the Verdeo Group, Inc. a company that works with businesses to identify, develop and monetize emission reduction opportunities.

Mr. Perrins is a graduate of Boston University.
